Novice Chores

Novices are assigned daily chores which they must complete. The following is a list of novice chores on the MUSH. Novices are not expected to slavishly RP chores, but should do so regularly. They are a greaty way to start off RP scenes and get others involved.

One can find the list of chores on the game by typing +lhelp novice chores.

Outdoor Duties:
Shovelling snow from the walks, raking leaves and loose grasses, weeding the gardens, watering the gardens, taking care of the stables, etc.

Dining Room and Kitchen Duty:
Scrubbing pots and pans, preparing foods, washing dishes, market shopping, putting away groceries, setting and clearing tables, serving Aes Sedai and guests, cleaning the carpets, etc.

General Cleaning:
Dusting, floor washing, tidying rooms, replacing candles and lamp oil, sweeping, etc.

Pigeon Lofts:
Cleaning the pigeon coops, delivering newly arrived messages, watching for messages, etc.

Laundry:
Stripping beds of bedclothes, gathering laundry, washing laundry, drying laundry, mending garments, pressing clothes etc.

Infirmary Duty:
Assisting Aes Sedai tasks, changing bed pans, feeding the sick, changing bedsheets, etc.

Secretarial Duties
Running errands, transcribing records, assisting Aes Sedai, assisting in the library, etc.

Special Chores
Any task assigned by an Aes Sedai or Accepted should be considered a chore, and like any other assigned chore, must be completed. Novices may also be assigned duties based on their skills, although this is more common with Accepted.
