Sworn Training

Sworn are trainees who've been promoted to the next stages of their training. Those wishing to start instantaneously as members of the sworn training program need to go through the character generation system prior to roleplaying this concept. Sworn are offered vast opportunities to improve their skills without the need to spend EXP points to do so.

When sworn characters are approved, they will be added to the Tower rosters. All sworn were previously trainees in the Tower program. Very rarely will sworn be allowed to come in at a level where no previous training in the Tower has been offered. Once sworn work out these details, they will have their position added on the 'tow .who' as Sworn.

Sworn must teach at least three weapons classes to Trainees before they may be considered for raising. Each sworn will be expeted to complete several sets of combat lessons and general classes before they take the test to rise to Warder: Trained. Should they pass their tests, they swear Oaths of fealty to the Tower and are eligible to be bonded by an Aes Sedai.

Weapons Classes:
The following classes must be completed by each sworn. The classes are designed in order for sworn to have a well rounded education in the various weapon styles. Warders, as such, are vastly skilled in applying various weapon techniques in battle.

General Classes:

In addition to the various weapons classes, trainees must also choose four general classes (G1-G4). The general classes taken may be of the student's choosing, so long as they are on the list of appropriate classes for trainees to take.

In addition to the various weapons classes, sworn must also choose eight general classes (G5-G12). The general classes taken may be of the student's choosing, so long as they are on the list of appropriate classes for sworn to take and do not duplicate previous classes taken as a trainee. Type GENERAL SWORN for more information on classes most appropriate for trainees.

Each sworn must pass a basic competency test before he can be raised to the Warder: Trained level. The test is comprised of a series of sparring matches, testing the student's ability to use the various weapon styles, as well as how well he can maintain focus and concentration on his task. Should a sworn pass the required tests, he is initiated among the Warder: Trained and given his color shifting cloak. He must also swear Oaths of fealty to the White Tower and is eligible to bond an Aes Sedai.

NOTE: Please be advised that completion of classes does not mean you will be Raised. Raisings are dependant upon activity, productivity, participation within the Tower, theme knowledge, and general conduct. You have less chances of being Raised if you are not actively participating in Tower events.

The 'Sword Forms' are no longer part of the trainee program. It was felt that they were not getting the 'well rounded' education that Warders would receive in the Tower by focusing on a single weapon. However, trainees still wishing to persue learning the 'Sword Forms' are more than welcome to do so. This extra training will be considered 'extra' credit toward the student's raising. For every 'Tier' he completes, he will be accredited accordingly for his sword skill.

Those sworn that started out with the 'Sword Form' program and only have a few forms left to complete their requirements may continue to RP through that program. They are also exempt from needing the four extra general classes that sworn need to have in order to raise. However, newly raised Sworn must use the new program outline in order to complete their classes.
